ALL Magnetics History
In 1986 All Magnetics Inc. (AMI) was established at930 S. Placentia Ave. Placentia, CA, 92670by John Nellessen Jr. 90% of AMI’s product was purchased from The Magnet Source tm , Master Magnetics Inc. in Castle Rock, Colorado owned by Jack Nellessen. AMI Distributed the magnetic products and magnets to mostly California, but also Mexico, Canada, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii and Alaska.
In 1989 AMI established purchasing partners in China.
On 4/8/1999 AMI moved to 2831 E. Via Martens, Anaheim, CA 92806
In 2001 Patents were filed for NdFeB magnets (Neodymium Magnets)by Dr. Masato Sagawa of Sumitomo Special Metals and the other by Dr. John Croat of General Motors (now Magnequench). This was a the most historic technological advance so far in magnet history. Fierce competition from China caused the shut down of every American magnet factory.
In 2002 John Nellessen Jr. and Qian Tiangang founded Ningbo Magnetics Factory (NMF) in Ningbo, China (ningbomagnetics.com).
In 2011 AMI expanded in to 1330 N Blue Gum, Anaheim, CA 92806.
Over the last 20 years MMI, NMF and AMI have expanded internationally. Over the years AMI has been granted 5 patents and more are always in the works. We have magnetic employees who can speak and write internationally in Spanish, Chinese, Swahili, Farci and French. We welcome and are grateful to all our magnetic product development customers.
